CTO & Tech Lead
Igor is the technical backbone of NextSora — he handles architecture decisions, code reviews, infrastructure setup, and makes sure the quality of everything the team ships meets the bar.
He has 6+ years of backend development experience, mostly with Node.js, PostgreSQL, and cloud infrastructure. He joined NextSora in 2021 and gradually took on the CTO role as the company and the projects grew in complexity.
Before NextSora he worked as a senior developer at a mid-size product company in Ukraine, spending a few years building and supporting web applications for B2B clients.
Igor grew up in Ukraine and started writing code in his teens out of curiosity — mostly small scripts and games. He studied computer science, did some freelance work on the side while a student, and landed his first real job at a web agency right after graduating.
At the agency he worked on a variety of client projects: e-commerce stores, booking platforms, admin dashboards. It was practical, messy, and taught him how to ship things under pressure. He spent about two years there before moving to a product-focused company.
At the product company he worked as a backend developer on a B2B SaaS tool used by small and medium businesses. He eventually became a senior developer on the team, taking on more responsibility for architecture and deployments. He stayed there for three years.
He joined NextSora in 2021 initially as a lead developer on a couple of client projects. Over time he became the go-to person for anything technical — stack choices, infrastructure, reviewing other people's code. The CTO title came naturally once the team grew past a handful of people.
He's not a conference speaker. He's the person who makes sure the codebase is clean, the servers stay up, and the junior devs don't accidentally delete the production database.
