Igor is the Chief Technology Officer of NextSora Global, responsible for all engineering architecture, infrastructure, and technical strategy across the company's product portfolio.

A systems thinker with 9+ years of deep backend and platform engineering experience, Igor has designed infrastructure serving millions of concurrent users with a relentless focus on performance, reliability, and zero-downtime deployments.

Before NextSora, he was a Principal Engineer at a Stockholm-based fintech scale-up, where he architected a distributed payments system processing over €500M in monthly transaction volume.

Full Biography

Igor was born in Lviv, Ukraine, and showed an early obsession with how systems work at a fundamental level. At 14, he was reverse-engineering protocols of online games for fun. By 17, he had his first paid contract — a custom inventory management system for a local manufacturing company.

He studied Applied Mathematics and Informatics at Lviv Polytechnic National University, graduating top of his class in 2015. During his studies, he co-authored a research paper on distributed consensus algorithms that was cited in two international conference proceedings.

After graduation, Igor joined a German logistics startup as their first backend engineer, building a real-time freight tracking platform from the ground up using Node.js, Kafka, and PostgreSQL — handling route optimization for 12,000 daily shipments with sub-100ms API response times. He became Team Lead within 18 months.

He later moved to Stockholm to join a Series B fintech company as Principal Engineer, where he led the migration of a monolithic legacy codebase to a microservices architecture on Kubernetes, reducing infrastructure costs by 40% while tripling system throughput.

Igor joined NextSora Global in 2020 as CTO, where he has architected the technical foundation of the company's most ambitious projects — including a B2B SaaS platform scaling to 2.4M users and an AI-powered health application with sub-200ms inference latency.

He is a certified AWS Solutions Architect (Professional) and holds a BSc in Applied Mathematics from Lviv Polytechnic National University.
